About 4 decades ago or so we went down to visit Gurnee Mills mall and the adjacent six flags in Illinois during a weekend thing with the kids. At lunch time we walked over to something like a cousins or subway sandwich shop. The two newbies behind the counter were dead head stoners, and had to be severely stoned out of their gourds. Finally someone who was a few years older came out from the back of the store and help the two dead heads make the sandwiches. Seriously, watching this was a little scary at the time. American fast food might or could be fast, but is it any kind of good food?
