But if you do, ... , try Ashland Wi. it's got tons and tons of water right on Lake Superior, plus excellent ground water, (the air off the lake is good enough to make it an NFT) (?), its a town always challenging 10,000 souls but never getting there having been through several boom-bust periods in its history, now pretty much tourism, county seat, lovely countryside, etc. Like the rest of USA decent housing is currently inflated beyond it's station, but nothing like higher density cities. One other caveat, wait until spacex or whoever gets their satellite internet rocking, the i-net up there still leaves much to be desired, as well as anywhere not currently covered by decent i-net speeds, let's just say some 3rd world countries have better i-net than 1st world(?) USA. Supposedly .gov is going to do something about underserved i-net in this country.
