You are absolutely correct, by design there is absolutely NO such thing as customer service when it comes to cancelling any kind of cc account that could involve earnings for a financial institution. They seem to have immunity from rules and regulations. Congress or the exec branch should regulate this behavior right out of existance, as there is no legit reason to advertise a feature that is unobtainable. After all how easy is it to sign up for the so-called features of a new cc card account. It's super easy. Why is it almost impossible to cancel a cc card account. Because its by design made extremely hard, not a customer service feature but more a customer abuse practice, and they get away with it, as if they own the government, hey, wait a minute, do they?
