Yes, the electorate here in USA is very confused over the term corporate welfare, they don’t get it, even when it’s written into tax law, to name one, the oil depletion allowance regarding taxes as a huge form of corporate welfare.

Other obvious examples are the latest budget bill from the government, and the military (contractor welfare) budget that is so huge it defies description yet much of that budget is “secret”, why? Why indeed?
