Wow. This whole issue of what I'd refer to as our US (scratch "United") cultural crazy people stew in the so-called new world has really gone deep in a story yesterday in the Washington Post. If you can get there it's about public vs. homeschooling in West Virginia, anyway, it's here.
Here in N.A., our Judeo-Christian worldview is many times all about criticizing Islamic states, even the late Arizona Senator John McCain was publically pumping up cultural wars with Islamic-style states. So our version, IMO, of cultural dogma, are these cultural sentiments so different than other culturally perceived dogmas around the world?
In my opinion, we can be just as ass-backward as any other people.
