Wow! Modern times, how courtship has changed.

When we were young boomers instead of being able to visit a full-blown bookstore typically the female of the species would be sporting a dog and if a prospect approached and communication started to jell instead of heading off to the local bookstore for lattes, frappes, and all those kool drink wonders, a visit to the parents house in the burbs while the parents were working would be a great place to introduce to the significant other, the household refrigerator. Yum!

But now a huge bookstore out in the burbs can also serve as a great place for shopping and kicking the tires so to speak. For socializing simply order and exotica wrap (including free-roaming ingredients)with a side of espresso, way more exciting, instead of our old boomer basic 5 food groups consisting of Pepsi, Snickers, ham, mustard, and peanut butter, (btw: all of those could probably last through a nuclear attack, so we had that going for us) yep, the bookstore was probably a tad more romantic.

Great story, who knew the value of those suburban mall bookstores?
