What a statement on the culpable media and it's never-ending 'in search of profits' trope. (Bleeds, leads, etc.)
Most of last Sunday was one real media story IMO. The Ukrainian war.
Later that day, the oscar show, by design created as one big f'king house ad, the pageantry, red carpet show, entertainment, the bling, and glitz, indeed every last one of the gathered audience was an advertising participant for the entertainment show industry. Really, nothing else. Of course, presented as infotainment about entertainment.
Then the incident happened and media of all stripes went into overdrive with two new stories, whitewashing the 'incident' as some kind of, well there's two sides to this story, genuflect media garbage, plus now the Oscars could be the 3rd news story. Capitalize, capitalize!!!
You are so right about the whole testosterone incident, I mean we could see this behavior in whatever psycho leader Putin did in Ukraine. People higher-ups act out, radically, and then maybe people die. By the thousands. Like in Ukraine. At least they check for firearms at the Oscars, I gather.
