Very nice story, enjoyable.

As a boomer, middle ager back when the internet was much younger it became apparent that the i-net phenom was going to suck much of the life out of a lot of things. I could see it replacing brick & mortar retail back in the mid-90s, among other things. I worked at a run of the mill major market newspaper. We were doing okay in the '90s but I could see that writing on the wall, basically it said, why. :-)
