There's always the possibliity that folks having no real reaction to the multi-year covid malaise have discovered a natural condition of being allergic to most or any socialization, like with people in general.

Almost like thinking, Hey!. Know what? I'm allergic to people. Not necessarily a bad thing, especially during a viral pandemic. More of a win win if one somehow comes out unscathed over the whole of the pandemic.
