The UK needs to ditch first past the post election rules in favor of a more proportional representation method.

It's like in the US, totally gerrymandered, dirty with wealthy influencers. Elections are decided by working on a few voting districts that are too close to poll, etc. Only those districts seem to matter, the other 98% of the voting districts, pretty much the fix is in.

This situation disenfranchises voters and leads to a kind of apathy.
