The tv series mad men seemed to show sexism of the 60s era baked into all the characters. All the characters personal struggles fitting into 1960s era consumer capitalism was one overarching theme, however the sexism was pre-baked into the characters reality.

In the series, women are fairly invisible unless they were rich or rich clients. End of story for 60s era women.
