The first time we left the kids at home during grocery shopping which by then they were totally bored with, we got paged in the store and upon turing into our road we saw the ambulance way down the street heading toward some emergency room. The kids were running around playing and one of them put their arm through a window cutting themselves rather badly. Luckily we had medically trained neighbors to call the ambulance and supervise the situation.

Another time we left the kids home alone when slightly older than the last episode above, got home and this big globe lamp in the living room was smashed. Hmmm, nobody could tell us what happened. Hmmm, very suspicious.

There were certainly other salient moments like this, very confusing to parent, as to how in the heck could this all happen????
