The class, race, gender disparities is a product of our countries NON focus on education, medical services, and generally lack of equality throughout our history which has always favored the landed & owner classes. Throwing support at one's jailer is not a solution to survival problems.

The author has defined the Trump phenomena very well, the question is why are these conditions not understood? It's not merely a can't see the forest for the trees, there must be a large component of complacency regarding our current elected overlords by the electorate. I wonder if these folks won't see this danger until they get hit head on by a freight train of fascism.
