I am curious about parts of your bio referring to what climate island you could possibly be referring to. I've visited some N.A. microclimates, my fav being the southeast part of Victoria, Vancouver Island, B.C., CN.

Not too bad mostly all year long. Better than the Olympic peninsula just south of the strait of Juan de fuca.
