So economic models aside then helping everyone sooner than later should be a major accelerated bigger push getting us off fossil fuels. It’s nice for all the pledges and some real exec orders and assistance to renewables, but talk only goes so far.

Speaking of our capitalistic prison, I’ve noticed a reversal in the pandemic year and ongoing to now, that plastic must be cheaper than ever as oil markets look for buyers. It’s like producers of packaging anywhere in the USA have totally ramped up plastic packaging, big time. I’m imagining at this time cardboard, aluminum, glass, or any other recyclable packaging materials are more expensive for producers of almost any kind. So many products seem to have switched back to plastic, in spite of the literal ocean of plastic crap in the oceans. Where’s the incentive to reverse this super pollution trend, or should I say super trending plastic for profit. Cheaper to use and nobody to clean it up, from users to industry. Hmmm. I believe we are going backward on the issue of plastic packaging.
