Since the country has pretty much sacrificed all meaningful reasoning for 24/7/365 crass capitalism consumer culture (like, be a good citizen, consume) maintenance, I don't understand why we aren't rushing out to the grocery and big box stores to celebrate the upcoming groundhog day and buying all manner of crap like chocolate groundhog treats, etc. kind of like Valentine's Day or Easter? I mean all the red Valentine crap was being pushed out to shelves in stores well before year-end. Seriously, folks, this is another easy-to-figure-out consumer moment. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️ Maybe we should be out looking for chocolate groundhogs since we have no trouble gobbling down 🤎 & 🐰's ? I mean, have ya got that urge yet?
