It's like these online gig companies should be called DEY style companies or Do Everything Yourself, and that includes customers as well as the contracted gig'ers. Somehow the owner/creators(?) of these online gig companies dreamed up a win-win scenario where they make wealth without risk. Kind of like the WeWork outfit among many others. That is the customers and gig workers are responsible for everything, and the DEY online biz is never at any risk. Infact the latest feature for these assholes is, check your email to see if you still have a job or find out the product or service you purchased no longer exists, do not respond to this email, there is no one receive a response, have a nice rest of your day.
