Obviously, in Russia, the news is tightly controlled. It's hard for westerners who have access to media to wrap their heads around this war's reasoning.

We have noticed how misinformation even affects the west in recent years where we also have westerners (some in high places) doing crazy shit just like the Putin mobster. Valid information access is critical to figuring out what is going on while not being fooled by propaganda smoke screens.
