Red tape for the average Joan/Joe is now like being bound and gagged by duct tape. It’s like going to a fav chain restaurant with 30 locations in the city only to find out that only one of those 30 locations is run by a smart human, the rest are run by cyborgs without the first idea how to solve anything.

Yeah, in the story, what was happening is why there is so much violence in the country. It’s like someone is out having a would-be great day only to have someone come out of nowhere and hand you the ship anchor of the Titanic.
