Hybrid and remote are still a kind of chasm in work reality. I think techies that are single as opposed to any kind of family situations are very different forms regarding working condition surveys. Maybe two different surveys need to be reported. Especially with at least 2 working + kid(s).
Recently my married gen' xer or millennial had to move due to spouses work opportunity, but was offered standard shift remote work with a provision of attending the main work location once every two weeks. This was very doable. If he didn't get this option he probably would be looking for work elsewhere at this time.
But yeah, singles in the workforce vs. families, it's kind of apples and oranges.
