Over the years I've drifted away from APC and moved to cyberpower. I thought/felt that APC was shedding the residential non-business markets. Of course, some battery tech has improved over the years. They all work fine, and no matter what brand, even if the power goes out in the middle of the night and the beeping noise goes off, that too can be a selection in getting the audible warning.
Yeah, the younger generations (kids) tend to all be on laptops which in a way has it's own built in upc (not counting the local wan & ISP switch) on par and they don't seem to use printers much anymore like us older folks. I know this since every once in a while we receive a printing request and get to visit the gen-xers and millennials. :-)
I completely divorced us from inkjet/color printers about a decade ago as it became way too much of a financial ripoff, unless it's for a business possibly. We use our little 3 in 1 small office Canon MF 240 laser for everything, except color of course, it does everything we need attached to a mac system. No we never enabled fax on the thing, we haven't even got a landline anymore. Got rid of that decades ago.
