I know what you mean, I almost went blind in one eye peeking out from behind the curtains in our quiet little suburban would-be nirvana neighborhood. (lately though with all the bullets flying around the neighborhood, well, I don’t do so much peeking anymore, maybe occasionally through one of our basement pillbox windows)
