No worries, I do not believe you are missing much of anything. I get a little annoyed at what appears to be ownership of nothing and streaming of everything else, and of course, this is what the new streaming service wars by the behemoth corporations are all about, get the whole F'king world on this or that subscription, what!!? Anyway, even though I no longer have my personal collection of music/movie discs, etc. I suppose it's just more clutter, especially at my age.

So yeah, many have been through whole short eras of e-changes, and now in the future assuming the whole internet doesn't become super Balkanized, which is what it's beginning to look like as everyone wants to own a piece of the online money pie, I still think I'm lucky when at my age in my early 70's I still have unfathomable amounts of data that can be accessed, usually by Google pointers, Wikipedia group, archive.org which I visit almost every time I go online. It's like the internet has become my surrogate brain. Hey, that sounds like a great B-movie title for rebroadcast on a future episode of MST3K. :-)
