Much of the US population never took the Wuhan pandemic phase serioiusly, due to a lack of trust in medical & .gov authorities evolving into many personal dangerous assumptions. (P45's feckless leadership greatly exacerbated this whole situation, IMO) As a nation's reaction to the Wuhan phase, we should have been acting much like a real pandemic war footing, but no.

Our collective memories of US vaccination history and general trust in medical knowledge apparently no longer exists in the majorities collective minds. Also, if we divorced our capital intensive medical system for a better regulated universally mandated medical system, it's possible we wouldn't be in this endless viral mess.
