Might be an interesting read a A. Morgan's critique of Netflix's Enola Homes with strong female characters. Would this be considered more patriarchal trash foisted on the modern public? (Didn't read any available books/scripts for this show)

While exhuming dead authors I'd suggest digging up Philip Wylie's Generation of Vipers classic. In this book Wylie is anointed with creating the literary idea known as 'momism', which back in the day became a kind of talking point on campus and probably helped to get Wylie's literature expunged from modern college curriculums, IMO.
