Let’s see here, Matriarchal or Patriarchal, heck let me spin my personally branded mansplained outline as to how we arrived at post-ww2 Boomerville.

Euro-centric people colonize N & S Americas.

The same bunch unwittingly wipes out well more than 50% of native Americans with imported chronic diseases.

Like other new Eurocentric territories and colonies, the USA inc. along with the Manifest Destiny Doctrine (MDD) are created.

[MDD expands territories wiping out what is left of Native Americans, with tools like legal genocide, resourced armies since slavery is being tasked doing much of America’s building and agri-production jobs. You know, all that stuff that is swept under the rug. Anyway, civil wars leave such a bad taste lingering forever. (Pro Tip: Don’t look under the rug.)]

Reviewing from colonial days: indentured servants, slavery, exploited labor towns, etc. (Oh, almost forgot, some colonist and new Americans were allowed land ownership, besides all that other stuff)

Up next: unfettered runaway rampant capitalism. Economic scares, trust buster era.

A commie scare or two, because hey! It’s not capitalism. Banana republics or (new colonization methods, and other leftovers of the MDD)

Basic eq. for successful modern economy: cheap labor + lots of guns + anything goes = best economy) Now there’s a warm fuzzy for us all. Heck now that I think about it let’s just forget the pre-WW2
