True story from flyover country.

The 2016 massacre: We live in what is known as a liberal county in flyover country. The day after the 2016 presidential election the largest local left-leaning talk radio station in the county, (I think only about 2 corporations now own 98% of all radio affiliates in the USA) yanked all left-leaning radio talk shows on that radio station and replaced them with 24/7 Xmas music. Imagine being stabbed in the head repeatedly with a very dull knife.

On the bright side, our state boasts a state legislature (filled with legislators from Hooterville, USA) that thought conceal and carry was God’s gift to the citizenry. That means if you ever visit our wonderful state to go shopping say in a department store, the ones that haven’t disappeared yet, the second that Christmas crap music starts spewing out all over, you can whip out your 45 and blast those Muzak crap speakers right off the ceiling. Ya baby!
