Just meant to note 2 kinds of research, there is pure unassigned research and assigned or directed research. I should have added the word research again after the word pure.

Big Pharma, big tech and other big monied concerns might donate to directed research to help their respective industries to eventually make more money. Then the same people or other foundations might donate and say, I don’t care what you research, here are some resources for your institution, have a go at any research you wish.

While trying to figure stuff out I was confused about a word 6 paragraphs in: “Mormons baptize deceased persons post-mortem, supposedly ensuring their eternal bliss in the telestial kingdom.”

I see the telestial word but don’t understand how it works with the thought. Maybe ‘celestial kingdom’?
