It's a bit of a power-hungry midterm election year for wannabe public service candidates and other wannabe local dictators. Maybe after midterms, the need to post disclaimers all over the place will subside as some need for public policy.

The statement above the main story sounds suspiciously like a corporate boilerplate CYA statement of policy. Or attempting to shift blame for any possible negative gone viral FUBAR.

This all could be getting ready for any legal net nanny legal shenanigans that might be cooked up by our lovely group of existing public servants even before the end of this year of 2022. Don't underestimate the potential of public servants to turn the concept of free speech and publishing on a free press into somebodies idea of Disney Land for all the citizens. At worst all stories, books, articles, what have you, must be pasteurized and homogenized for public consumption. In other words, why does publishing anything have to be designed for an audience of kindergarteners, by law?
