I think a lot of the 'killer' stories are unimaginative link-bait titles to get eyeballs in a super crowded tech blog-news media system. After all in much of the blog/vlog platform spaces eyeballs are the currency.
IMO, Apple's (upcoming?) current multi-year revenue bottleneck, if any, will be the transitioning of device production away from China if west-east-sino relations continue to sour.
In the meantime, the Apple product cycle picture might appear as a kind of e-industrial dubstep. That is, if the Apple marketing department is up to the task, yeah, probably. It's kind of like AI comes to the Apple marketing department. 🤷♂️
