I see some of the McDs in our area have these rather large menu ordering e-kiosks (indoors) probably due to the usual automate anything and everything, the covid phenomena that probably accelerated the R&D on auto-menus, and possibly trying to reintroduce more fast into the ever busy fast food world, which might end up being everybody's only choice in the near future, but that is another story.

I purposely never use these e-menus either cause I'm old, don't want to learn someones version of how to order fast food, or maybe I never like viewing older style fast food menus to begin with, and don't get me started on whatever KFC menus have always been, impossibly dumb, IMO. It's probably just me but a short conversation with a human ordering clerk (AI, Actual Intelligence) seems fastest, well, maybe I'm a trained fast food monkey.

Fortunately I spent my earlier years never working at fast food chains. I have an abnormal fear that it would be impossible to figure out how to operate those fast food ordering keyboards, I notice when ordering in 2021 that the work staff has their issues working those machines.
