For merchants, debit cards are preferred so they pay smaller fees. Also, onsite atm cash withdrawals tend to be no fee at the grocery merchants.

Credit unions tend to be cheaper on fees than banks, mostly.

That's right hubby knows we are getting screwed which should tell anyone, when it comes to citizen ROI on their taxes, that's very low to a no go due to corporate nimbyism getting 24/7/365 corporate welfare because corporations make the laws in government by proxy, and really considering we are about 330 million peeps, those politicians are dirt cheap!
