Here’s a little USA armchair philosophical rant, take it or leave it.

If you are female, avoid living in the state cult of Texas, wherein the following oxymoron phrase rings true to me: ‘Free women of Texas’. I’m including the statehouse grounds in Austin and what must also be a ring of fire around the city limits of Austin. I get it, hard to see, especially for women embedded in this socially imbalanced screwed-up state.

If you are skeptical regarding me lumping women as a second class citizens in Texas then go anywhere else in the USA and do what other great journalist has learned to do, follow the money. That can also lead to similar conclusions since It’s not like Texas has some patriarchal monopoly on overt sexist behavior, they are just great at bragging and acting it out in the light of day.
