Having over 4K religious followings, most possibly effectively extinct, kind of proves the point regarding the illogic of prayer. Especially since some of those religions subscribe to the ‘only one Gawd’ theory of deity dogmas. But to further assume that somehow a random political entity (aka the swamp king) reinforces anyone’s dogma de jure, points to more of a cluster fuck of illogical beliefs that make up the body politic, even those that harbor some random faith. It’s as if religion has enabled followers to navigate decision making as if they were a herd of drunken stumble bunnies. The country has it’s work cut out for it, not the least of which is fixing the education system, the public one.
