Fun read!

Still he's right about tipping. As in many service industries in the US low pay is the hallmark, and with food service & the tax laws for those therein, it's insane. Provide a decent wage or diners can go back to lunch lines any time of day, IMO. The low pay tax rules for food service workers is ass-backward regarding others receiving steady wages for similar work. It's also a factor why the service economy has many current shortages in that waitstaff workforce. If honest, many would not want to return to the pre-covid good old days(?) working in that kind of oppressive compensation structure. Other salaried staff might, but not the lowly regarded food service worker.

(Also, the back to normal crowd, they are the new Utopians, they think that condition is out there somewhere, Hello, it's all gone, however that's a story for another day since nobody wants to listen to that tale of woe at this time.)

Why random people should be an integral part of food service income, I cannot wrap my head around that, NO way! Sure I do tip like everyone else when affordable, however we are contributing to food service worker exploitation, big time! They need a real wage. Viva Denmark service workers! They deserve what they have gotten.
