Excellent overview of the state of public social discourse relationships in our contemporary local space-time universe.
If we were somehow in a similar alternate spacie-time universe, one that was not currently under some social lockdown due to a rabidly contagious virus of unknown origins, this piece could easily be the basis for a great Library sit-com easily as entertaining as say, parks and recreation.
I can see it now, Librarian characters with trifocal chained glasses that possess a kind of laser death stare ability when detecting a patron that is obviously full of it! Fine forgiveness: public library walks of shame instead of hiring any kind of greeter, in house faux crucifixions roped onto bookcases, to work those fines off. A little like the Huber laws. The fun never stops.
