Downstream collateral damage can continue when finding new work whether anyone believes this or not, H.R. people in companies of about 50 or so, could communicate with other H.R. people at a similar level regardless of posted company privacy policies, down to pinning people with codes among other gossips. (‘Hey Bob, that guy is a 748’) I mean they are human like most of us, correct? Heck in some geographies H.R. people might have their own private network of insider knowledge. So if possible and you have to leave a bad work situation, try not to totally flame out aka going nuclear, suck it up and vote with your feet hopefully with some prospects before leaving.
