China currently has enough issues and trouble holding their country together before they are ready to take on more fubar than they are already experiencing. So absolutely no, perhaps in about 8-9 years one of these 2 countries will be degraded enough for some kind of dumb aggressive war movement. This also says that empires kind of fall from within IMO. I think China is beating us in that kind of dystopia outcome, although some days I wonder about our future too.

How about this, don't worry so much about China, the way to be ready for anything as a country is to keep things together in our own backyard.
