What is it about that Youtube guy's taglines in some kind of Eurotrash accent like 'dear viewers' that returns viewers coming back, especially during the recent local volcanic eruption, on that tropical island in the Atlantic? Oh yeah, every time he tries any English word containing the letter "V" or when he tries so hard to enunciate some new long sciencey multisyllabic word, he comes off as a cutie-bear. (wallcano across deh walley) His schtick comes off like a kind of semi-produced 80's travel log show, not like Gilligan's Island but sticky.

In case you are wondering WTF I'm writing about it's this guy's Youtube channel, Bushcraft Bear, somehow charming, but I can never tell exactly what the draw is. I think the recent volcano made his channel pop into viral land for a bit. I wish him luck, I mean who else is going to report the news 'Hello dear viewers from the beautiful Canary Island of La Palma'. What a gas! The local chamber ought to hire him.
