As classic news that tries to keep relevant by looking like they know what online is all about, they end up like the internet news/blogs/noise where maybe people work on the news (actual newsy stuff) 3 days a week and then Fri. through Mon. is the cut and paste maintenance part of the work week with some editorial bait thrown in.

So you can't be missing much news if any, just maybe a few possibly interesting stories for about 3 days a week, or whatever a news outlet will pay for 1-4 writers a week, then they need a part time editor to make sure nothing gets through about their donors and sponsors.
