Apparently you didn't get the memo. Never underestimate the propensity for any organization public or private to turn a worldwide pandemic into a profit opportunity. Somehow it's in our genes.
Also in that memo was the reminder that we the customers, in person or online, are performing our task as their data gathering marketing department.
That's right, the more they know the more we get ripped. It's not like they have some sort of secure vault where they keep customer information, we have learned that one by now. It's more like, 'Hey! Cust info, it's open season on these suckers!'
