Another election cycle point that bugs me is the whole mass media cycle that follows, pushes, fawns, and generally regurgitates the same link baity stories right up until election day. Not to mention that most political content coverage sucks beyond belief. (Both sides of the story, blah blah blah, gag) Legacy media on tv, radio, e-casting e.g. any social networks, youtube, facebook ahh err I mean meta, twitter and on and on. Today there are even networks that run on some social software named 'discord' servers. That's enough to scare any of us old timers to steer clear of whatever that is. Sounds like something we don't need in our lives. Anyway as of this date we are in full blown political noise mode just before the next midterm elections this coming week, It's like a political blitzkrieg out there where it's like, was that a political ad or an inhouse stay tuned pitch? So thick and tiring I can't bring myself to watch standard legacy news outlets on any platform until this vote is over, since there probably won't be any other news that isn't some political hyped up contest stories in between pill and truck ads and oh yes, vote for me political ads so poorly cobbled together it's enough to make us so-called normals hurl chunks!
Oh yeah, almost forgot, one more thing congress didn't finish up this year, permanent daylight saving time. Um, can we simply pick a time and stick with it? How hard is that?
