Almost all consumer-facing businesses budget big bucks on sales and most short-budget customer service to the extreme. How do I and others know this general fact? Because anyone that has had to use customer service for anything as it exists now knows it has to be a fact else everyone would love customer service (CS).

Let's refer to interactive CS as it exists today as SLM or Small Language Model usually queued with 1-9 numbers for receiving responsive bot audio clips, until finally reaching a breathing human which of course currently is distinguishable from a modern advanced LLM chatty bot which could probably fool many.

So probably after this latest tech crash consisting of laying off as many middle staffers as possible, if there is an 'after', will be the resurfacing of enhanced SMLs morphing into LLM CS e-staff, also known as server-ware. Those pesky laid-off humans, well they will probably never be back unless maybe rehired as server farm mall security guards.

Still, if the LLMs are worth their (it's?) salt I guess that would be some kind of improvement regarding the CS business models. I guess I'm saying I wouldn't want to be dependent financially on a job having to use my native language as the basis for making a living, and this scenario may be coming soon.
