Ahhh, the smell of western monopolistic capitalism, we get that special aroma when a complete product line is about 80% owned and controlled by one huge European corporation, Luxottica, prices just go up magically.

No worries the Euros are busy fighting USA-style capitalism by hitting the big USA tech corporations with fines pulled out of some regulator's backside.

The European monopoly Luxottica? Ah, hands-off.

It's the new hands across the sea economic diplomacy.

BTW: Best not to head south of the border and pick up the same plastic product line with your credit card for less than half price, somehow though your cc's may work everywhere in Mexico, they might magically not work for >-any-< kind of medical service, it's almost like somebody bought some legislation in D.C., golly!

Oh well in the future when the vision business goes totally auto-bot automated, the prices will stay the same or go up due to some kind of invisible reasoning. Hey, it's capitalism, it doesn't need a reason.
